A Frustrated Monday, But I Still Showed Up

By Pvaishnavi

There are Mondays that start with to-do lists and fresh motivation, and then there are Mondays like today.

Today felt like standing in the middle of a storm with no umbrella.
Everything I touched felt stuck — like time, like tech, like results.

I tried to withdraw urgently needed funds from my SIP savings — only to be told I could withdraw ₹8,000, nothing more. I needed more. And somehow, the system that’s supposed to support your savings failed to respond when it mattered the most.

I turned to work, hoping for a better rhythm.
But Etsy?
No views. No clicks. No signs of life, even though my heart is poured into every listing.
I checked the Facebook campaign I set up days ago, the one I carefully crafted, added Pixel tracking to, and waited for — nothing. No response. No traction.

I felt invisible.

When You're the One Everyone Relies On

The hardest part?
I don’t have the option to sit back.
When you are responsible — for a home, a business, a dream, or just yourself — you don’t get to press pause. You don’t get to switch off when things don’t work out. You don’t get to let the bad day win.

So, even with a heavy heart and a tired mind, I kept going.

I fixed what I could. I researched what might help. I showed up online, again.
I wrote down my thoughts, not to vent — but to heal and remind myself:
I’m still here. I’m still trying.

Because That's What Resilience Looks Like

Sometimes, it's not about breakthroughs.
Sometimes, it's just about not giving up.

Yes, today was a frustrating Monday.
Yes, the numbers didn’t move, and neither did the balance.
But I did. I moved forward — even if it was just by one inch.

If you're reading this and feeling the same — stuck, tired, uncelebrated — know this:
You are not alone.
And you're stronger than you think.

We all have “baggy” Mondays. But what makes us different is that we still choose to show up.

For Today, That’s Enough.

Tomorrow is another try.
Another step.
Another version of you who knows a little more than the one today.

Keep walking. I am too.

Love,
Vaishnavi
