✍️ Letters to Autumn: Notes from My Inner Healing Journey
From the blog “Autumn Heals Me”
Dear Autumn,
There’s a stillness in the air that reminds me to slow down. I watch the light shift across my room, dancing gently over marble, over plants, over memories. And I feel something soften inside me.
These days, I’ve been learning to sit with myself. Not to fix. Not to plan. Just… to be.
You’ve taught me that healing doesn’t always arrive in loud breakthroughs. Sometimes, it shows up in the tiniest rituals—lighting a diya, arranging fresh flowers in my marble urli, walking barefoot in my balcony garden. These moments remind me that I am held, even in silence.
I’ve spent years rushing—chasing goals, running from discomfort, trying to be "enough." But you, Autumn, in your quiet shedding, remind me that letting go is also growth. That rest is not laziness, but a necessary part of blooming.
This week, I let go of the need to be perfect.
I forgave an older version of myself.
I held space for my fears, but didn’t let them lead.
And in between, I found joy in the small things—
—Warm sunlight on marble.
—A cup of ginger chai.
—A single, soft breath that said, “I’m okay.”
I’m learning to live slower. Softer.
And somehow, in this softness, I feel strong.
Thank you, Autumn, for reminding me that even as things fall away, beauty remains.
Until next time,
—A Soul in Transition
