Though one can make a trip from Udaipur to Ranakpur solely for the famous Jain temple, why not to visit the Kumbhalgarh fort too when you come this far from the city? Or you can always do a trip from Kumbhalgarh to Ranakpur too instead of the former one.
Other than the vast religious significance the temple holds, the enormously detailed carvings and splendid scriptures make it so famous even amongst the tourist.
